The EBC EPFA brake pads are an upgrade on the Double H sintered pad. The main benefits of the EPFA pad is the improved fiction and better heat cycling for race or extreme road use. For occasional track days these would be your best option as they have superb fade resistance and modulation making them good-to-excellent on the track. The EPFA series compound consists of tungsten and moly metal which brings consistency and stability even under extreme conditions. The EPFA pads have a Vent Groove to prevent backplate deflection and possible de-bond.
